Swan Street House

Swan Street House is 32 story neighbourhood with one-, two- and three-bedroom homes set in a contemporary living space. Residents have a choice an amenity spaces including communal lounges, co-working spaces, a private dining area along with a cinema and gym.

Working in partnership with Savills and Lechler Hayes Architects, Aztec were asked to fit out a new gym facility at Swan Street House for resident’s use. An innovative design which focused on a modern, industrial look with a clean, spacious layout. The ceiling is open, exposing metal air ducts and structural elements, which gives it a loft-style feel. Bright, geometric LED light fixtures hang overhead, creating strong, even lighting throughout the space.

The walls feature a mix of large floor-to-ceiling windows and exposed red brick columns, adding warmth and texture while letting in natural light and reflections. The flooring is divided into zones with black rubber tiles under the machines for stability and safety, and light wood flooring in open workout areas. Working with brand leader Technogym Cardio equipment dominates the space, including treadmills, stair climbers, and stationary bikes. To complement this the gym also has a free weights zone and refreshment station.
