Irving’s had already occupied a space on the 1st floor At Exchange Station Liverpool for approximately 20 years, originally fitted out by Aztec.

Mann Island is Avenue HQ’s first location so it was vital that it impressed. It had to be special. Its enviable postcode and location on Liverpool waterfront next to the city’s famous ‘three graces’ was a crucial first step; the space itself was entrusted to Aztec.

MSB wanted to create a clean and vibrant office space that reflected its core values. 4 St Pauls, in the heart of Liverpool’s Commercial District, was finally selected – the most prestigious location for professional services firms in the city.

Aztec were asked to install a new fire alarm system as part of an upgrade of an old fire alarm system throughout all floors at the Capital building.

The existing reception space needed to be re-energised, with purpose to enhance the occupier experience.

The project involved providing a new built up metal roof in an occupied facility on a tight time frame.

The project required creating additional highly serviced, high-performance space within Grade 2* listed higher educational buildings, in a conservation area and overlooked by Grade 1 Anglican Cathedral.

Aztec created a space that allowed Griffiths & Armour (G&A) to work more cohesively and improve workflow between teams, as their brief from the start was very clear the project should be about their people.
